So I did pick up the Camera today.  Now I'll be able to take lots more pictures.  I'll also be able to mail my other camera home so that the pictures can be developed.

I'm glad to hear that the ward has been stepping it up.  Now its time for every family to have a non member to church on sunday.  Its been done.  A ward in Idaho took up the challenge.  300 non members were in sacrament meeting one sunday.  President Belliston's daughter is the relief society president in that ward.  Thats how we know.  Get to it family.

Many marvelous things can happen when you put forth your faith and effort.

So this last week and a half I've probably lost about ten pounds.  We've been forced to bike in the hot weather because we used up all the miles on the car.  But its a new month so miles start over.  We're also supposed to be getting a new car.  A Subaru Impreza.  We're trading in the Corolla.

This week we've been able to teach a couple of new investigators.  Jameria and Marty.  Jameria ended up in Hagerstown because of a chaotic lifestyle.  Marty has been all over the US.  He even spent a little bit of time in Utah.  His claim is that because he's been to Utah he can claim with full certainty that the Church is not true.  We asked him if he asked God if it was true, because God's answer is the only one that is really to be trusted. (You learn to be bold with investigators and bold we are) Jameria has been reading the Book of Mormon and talking to her Pastor about it.  We told her that the only person who can answer whether or not it is true is God.  Not man.  People here like using Revelations 22:18 every time we knock on their door or talk to them in the streets.  My companion and I have learned that any discussion or argument cant be settled through the bible.  Elder Holland said, "Clearly the Bible, so frequently described...as “common ground,” (is) nothing of the kind—unfortunately it (is) a battleground."  President Belliston.  The inspiring man that he is has told us this from the beginning, "If they pull you into the Bible you're dead.  Everyone knows the Bible and can argue it.  You've got to take it back to the Book of Mormon."  So now everything we say is about taking it to God or referring to the Book of Mormon.  Jameria told us the coolest thing.  Right after we recited the First Vision to her (and the Spirit was so strong) she said, "Its like hearing God's voice."

I bear my testimony that this gospel is true.  That god speaks to prophets and they guide us today.  In the the name of Jesus Christ.  Amen.
